Archer, Moses

d. in Galena, Illinois. Archer married Myra Moffitt in Christian County, Illinois, on September 24, 1824. He settled in 1827 in Mt. Auburn Township in Christian County where he entered the first tract of land in the township. Archer came to Sangamon County, Illinois, with his brother William Archer. Moses Archer was married four times and died before the Civil War.
